God is obsolete

Lets take a trip back in time. when man first saw lighting what did they think? Most likely there must be a lightning god. What did man think of tsunamis? Must be a tsunami god. Earthquake? earthquake god. rain..ect....(Although i think divine deity would be a better word than god)

The point is man thought up of god(s) to explain things he did not understand, but unfortunately for cavemen, we now understand lighting, earthquakes, tsunamis, rain, and compared to what cavemen knew, a whole lot.

We do not need to make up gods to explain such things. Of course there are some things we do not understand, be we figure new things out through science everyday. It is OK to say I don't know, instead up making up divine deities, since there is a good chance sooner or later some one will figure it out.

There is no need to have an emotional attachment to a figment of a 2000 year old persons imagination, but don't take my word for it. Try using some simple logic and rational thinking.
